Support Standard Protocols Such as J1939, ISO15765, Modbus to Can Communication Bus Converter That Supports Custom Protocols GCAN-204 -converter heeft één CAN-bus-interface, één seriële interface. De GCAN-204 integreert het Modbus RTU-protocol. Met de GCAN-204 kan de gebruiker de seriële bus gebruiken die is aangesloten op andere apparatuur (met het Modbus RTU-protocol) om toegang te krijgen tot de CAN-bus-communicatie-interface. GCAN-204 heeft een geïntegreerde isolatiebeveiligingsmodule. Met behulp van een vaste DIN-rail kan het eenvoudiger zijn om in de besturingskast te integreren.

3.2 CAN-gegevens verzenden
Bijvoorbeeld, Modbus slave adres: 1, Modbus register eerste adres: 0x101 (decimaal: 257), functiecode: 16 (10H), CAN: Standaard frame, frame-ID: 0x201, CAN frame data:  
0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0x05, 0x06, 0x07, 0x08.
